How can I show the last 5 posts of my forum on the homepage of my website? Is there a widget or code to do that?

You need to use our Template Tags plugin which incorporates a widget for the purpose (like we use here in the bottom left of the page) plus many other options as shown here: http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/plugins/our-plugins/the-template-tags-plugin/

I can’t login on to the codex. There said that my membership has been expired but it’s not.

Our apologies. Sometimes things get a little confused on renewals! I have manually reset the account on the Codex and all should now be well.

Do shout if you have any further problem with that.

Which code can I use to make it nicer like in your footer?

It doesn’t look nice right now. No avatars etc in mine.

See: http://www.cultuureducatiepurmerend.nl/ Right bottom “laatste Forumberichten”

I don’t know what you tried to paste there but if it was code then it needs to be highlighted using the syntax highlighter button.

But – are you using the widget? Because that has a check box for turning on the avatar display…
