Spacing between lines

Hello I have a thread on my forum and I need spacing between the pictures and text, but when I use <p> it only works on the preview, after I click submit, it just goes back to no spacing. Help please!

which editor are you using?  remember, if using tinymce (richtest) its wysiwyg, so if you enter <p>, it wont be html, but encode so it appears… if you want to add html, you need to open the html editor window via the source code button (looks like <>) where you can enter plain html…
