Want to Place "Add Topic" button on my desired place

Hi,

I am now using default theme. I already rename it. But I need to change the “Add Topic” button position just under the forum, not under old topics. Not only that, when a member click on “Add Topic” button the add topic   text box will be shown under the forum.  Now I can see there are two “Add Topic” button, one is upon the forum and other is under the old topics. How can I customize the theme so that I can solve the task. Please help me.

You should be able to place it wherever you want. Have you tried moving it?
If you look at the display function names then it is pretty obvious what each one does and which element it displays so it is a matter of choosing where in the flow you want it and moving the button there…

Or am I mis-understanding?
