which overlay is that? blue?
It looks like you are going to have to override some of the WP theme settings (css wise) to center the X properly.
A lot of WP themes restyle the input[type=”button”], button slightly and makes them out of line.
It also looks like you are using the Unified theme as your main SP theme. Did you select is as all 3? Desktop, Mobile and Tablet? You can use it as your main theme if you like that look, but for it to work correctly you need to make it the theme for the other platforms.
Very VERY pleased to hear this as our members have been asking for mobile friendly access to the forum so this is great news. What will we need to do to get it up and running and when can I tell them it will be happening? Good job!

Hopefully we will have control over what version users see on their mobile?
Two things:
1) I see the actions button at the top, but may I recommend a simple button that just says, “Log In” too. You’d be amazed how fast people give up when they don’t know what to do.
2) When viewing a conversation, may I suggest adding a simple “Add Reply” or “Reply” button. I see the + button, but…well see the latter part of my 1st point.

I think both of those could be added using current template functions so easy to do as a custom change. I really do accept the point but I think the problem with that is where do you stop? There is always ‘one more thing’ that lazy people wont spend time discovering…
I agree with the other post on having the log in as part of the actions and an add reply button. Members don’t post unless the process is super obvious
I´m sorry… but i disagree with adding more buttons… i think that is special theme for mobile… if you need the buttons you can customize it on the SpHeader.php …

and best part is the Unified responsive theme is still a collection of template files and template tags/functions… so you can add, remove or change any buttons/text/elements that you like… certainly understand liking to use things out of the box, but as you can see, not everyone agrees… 
I disagree. I don’t want to add more buttons either. Only one button (Login and Add Reply once they’re logged in). The whole point of me using a forum template is to encourage people to dialogue and participate online. As a paid member of this community it’s disappointing to see that it isn’t as high as a priority in the design.
This is why Google is the #1 search engine = simplicity. We shouldn’t refer to non-techy people as “lazy” either. Seems condescending. A lot of people don’t work on a computer all day and as a web admin I’m trying to shift them into that culture. Simplicity helps.
Lastly, I’m not a programmer. I pay hourly for one. As of right now, this is probably something I would have to contract out to get done.
I promise, your forums will be more user friendly to a larger audience if you consider these features down the road. Just lookin’ out for you guys.
