Ok – i have spent the last half an hour or more looking through all of the data and settings and I have to admit I can find nothing wrong. I do not like the number of error log entries you get which suggests some missing settings or something somewhere but that is not an issue as far as your moderator is concerned.
I need to talk this through here and also trawl through the code and compile a list of all the conditions for which that denied message may be triggered and perhaps see if we can come at the problem from that end of the stick…
sounds to me like the next step is to see if there is a staging or test server available that has the same issue where we can get some ftp credentials and add some debug code… additionally, we probably need the credentials for this admin so we can do a bunch of data dump and see where things are failing… think at this point we need to walk through the code real time and see what is going on…
