That works. But places fb comments on top of the post.
Would be better under the post if possible.

Sorry Doc – i think you must have just missed me last night by minutes!
If you look at the topic view template we altered the other day, we inserted the code just before the call to:
sp_SectionStart(‘tagClass=spTopicPostSection’, ‘post’);
Trace the code down the template and you will come to the call to:
sp_SectionEnd(”, ‘post’);
If you move the code to immediately AFTER that section end call, then it will appear after the post instead of before it.
Thanks Andy, worked like a charm, except on the mobile template it’s duplicating and still on top of the forum.
Nope edited both mobile and desktop files.
Actually thinking the best place to put it would be inside the text area of the 1st posted topic.
Cacheing on the mobile device maybe? Both the desktop and mobile versions follow the same basic path – especially as far as that main post section go – so it should be just fine. I would have to see the template with code changes to be able to see if there is any other reason…
As to where to place things. If you follow the template through you should be able to see the various display elements of a post – it is really very linear in that respect. You now know the boundary of an individual post – between those section calls. Anything inside those calls will display inside the post container.
The template does the left hand user info side first and then in the next ‘column’ the post content itself.
You may have trouble, however, putting it below the signature (near the end of column2) although you could try after the insertBreak call AFTER the siganture and jjust above the end of the section…
Does that make sense?
Got It!
Inserted it right after the ShareThis on both templates and it’s working great!

Thanks again for all your help..
