I’m an admin,and I don’t see any tools and I cant moderate or edit any post.
I think that all my options looks ok, so where could be a problem.
Ver 5.0, WordPress 3.3.1
that display forum tools option is old and not used… removed in next update… but obviously does not affect here…
you only see the forum tools when you hover (can change to always appear in template tag) over the post content… is should appear in upper left by the avatar…
if not appearing on hover, likely a js conflict… link to site please so we can check fr obvious ones…

This article – http://wiki.simple-press.com/installation/troubleshooting/forum-page-is-empty/ – is for Version 4 but is still correct for V5. I believe you will find your theme is not making the mandatory call to the wp_footer() function.

I checked. Problem is with theme.
Not correct yest but when I changed a theme tools shows up.

I have the same exact problem my good friends… Not sure how to cope with it because all things posted in the wiki page Swordfish have suggested are consistent in my theme.
