Say Someone creates a thread named Hey Guys it becomes hey-guys
And a second person creates a thread with the same title it becomes hey-guys-1
And if the original poster creates another thread Hey Guys it becomes hey-guys-2
I have refuse duplicate post enabled for members and guests and thought that would stop it from happening but it does not seem to be what I am looking for

‘Duplicate post’ really does mean that – i.e., identical post content. Not title. And even then it means immediately after the previous post. It is really more of an anti-spam measure,
its certainly possible to reject duplicate titles as well… we have hooks in the post validation process that you could use to check… but not something we have done ourselves..
