Support Forum
I've searched the docs and these forums, and I understand how to use the Forum Ranks feature to automatically assign a badge (or usergroup) to any member once they have reached a minimum number of forum posts required for that rank. Great feature!
I wonder however: Is there a way to assign a maximum number of posts instead? Or perhaps someone can suggest another way to what I am attempting here...
I want to assign a badge for a Forum Rank titled "New Member". I then want this badge to disappear once the user has posted x number of times.
For example, a new user joins and the New Member badge will appear under their avatar. (No need to auto-assign any usergroup, just show the badge.) After that user has posted 5 times (new topics or posts/replies), the badge then disappears.
Am I missing a simple way to do this?

Hi:
Maybe the thing to do here would be to assign the badge with a postcount of zero and above. Then assign another badge for 25 posts and above but set that badge to an invisible image that is 1x1 pixel in size? This might get you close to what you're looking for. I haven't tried it myself but its the first thing that comes to mind.
Thanks.

I figured that might work, but just wondered if I was missing some other way to avoid creating the second rank.
I was able to assign one rank with a postcount of 0 and "New Member" Badge, then create a second rank for "Members" with postcount of 3 leaving the badge option blank. No need to assign the 1x1 pixel image as a badge.
Thanks!
