I’ve come across a snag with the importing of my old smf forum. There doesn’t seem to be any way to add attachments to existing posts. I expected to see the “Upload Attachments” button when I went into post edit mode. I have the attachment plug-in installed and active.
Any idea how I can do this?
The posts should already have links to the attachments so is it possible to match the paths in some way?
I don’t see any reference to attachments at all, unless you’re talking about the raw DB. I haven’t looked at that yet.
yes. raw db… assuming attachments are not shown inline… if inline, then the post content should have a link to it…
we dont pull ANY attachment data across unless embedded in the post content…
Is there any reason that editing a post can’t also allow adding or removing attachments? That’s quite a common thing I to need to do.
not currently from the edit window… but you can remove them using the forum tools…
