I just noticed that I am not being automatically subscribed to topics I post in even though I have “Auto subscribe to topics I post in” active in my profile. (On this site)

looking in the database, your autosubscribe option is set to true… so thats not what you are seeing on the profile?

My profile shows it set, but when I post and then look at my subscriptions, the new topic is not listed.
I’ll do some tests on my test forum.
Edit: It works fine on my forum. Weird.
can you send me pm with your account credentials here? let me look from your account?

Done.
so lets step back… all looks right to me… you have auto subscribe on… you are subscribed to a bunch of posts…
are you mis-understanding the subscribe button and the count? that count (the number) is the number of unread posts in subscribed topics… it is NOT the number of subscribed topics…
it will increase in count when someone else posts to a topic you are subscribed too… when you visit the topic, the count will decrease… but you can always click on the button and see the subscribed topics…
I have had to manually subscribe to each topic. I’m about to ask yet another question so I’ll see it it still happens.
My latest post does not show up in the list. You are welcome to post using my credentials if you want to test it.
While we’re on the subject of subscriptions, it would be nice if the list of subscribed topics showed which topics have new replies.
