Automatic Upgrade 12-10-2012 Plugin upgrade ok, Database upgrade failed

I wish I could give you the build numbers, but the upgrade notice is gone.

I was notified about the upgrade at around 3:57 EST and did the automatic upgrade.

The plugin was successfull, then I clicked on the link for the Database.

I failed then displayed an error message.

I tried to go back and repeat the pprocess so I could give you the error code but the upgrade notice is gone.

Not sure where I stand now?

I haven’t received an update message, but maybe it was the version I downloaded yesterday (7705).

You should be able to find the build number in wp-content/plugins/simple-press/sp-control.php. I see line 32 saying define(‘SPBUILD’,7705);

forum – toolbox – toolbox will always show you the current build you are on…

we dont output a database upgrade message failed…  you do not remember the actual message?  are things working?

I received the message after I clicked the upgrade database link.

It went by to fast but it said failed…

There is no way for me to know what was being updated and there are many features in this forum.

I need to know what the database update was for then I can test that area o the forum.

What can I do?

there was no db upgrade in the latest update pushed out… no db upgrades in RC at all yet…  all the ‘upgrade’ does is updat the build number in the db…  so if it did that, all should be well…

and the message does not go by… if its ours (and again, we dont output the message text you said), the page stays there until you click away…

The only ‘database upgrade’ message I know of is the WordPress one which does use this term. Are you sure you are not confusing upgrading Wp itself with upgrading the forum?
