Buttons Not Working Without Browser Refresh

Hi Guys, Installed SP on this site and are having problems with buttons functioning via desktop browser. The login, add new topic, and reply to topic, buttons are not working. If i refresh my browser (FF and Chrome) one or twice they usually work. No errors in the browser console. Running the SP reboot theme.

It’s almost like something has not finished loading. Running under CloudFlare and have disabled Rocket Loader and all acceleration caching, JS CSS HTML minification that didn’t help. Was running Facebook comments and disabled that. Changed the WordPress theme. Tried different options in sp-config all in vain.

Here is a screen video. The login button is not working. Refreshing the browser i noticed the two new / updated topic and select forum dropdown’s did not load. Sorry my sound did not work in the recording.

Been wrestling with it for 2 days before deciding to ask y’all. Any suggestions?

well of course we cannot try those buttons since guests cant post…

but I do get cloudflare errors on every page load:

A Parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, https://ajax.cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/nexp/dok3v=85b614c0f6/cloudflare.min.js, is invoked via document.write

also, I still see rocket running…  the cross site js seems to definitely be blocking loading of other js…

Turned out to be RocketLoader. Has to be disabled for the whole site. Normally creating a page rule disabling it for the forum page does the trick.

Maybe but the acceleration it gives is fantastic.

I know y’all rewrote your javascript that solved 99% of rocketloader problems for me. Maybe one was overlooked? Not complaining, just curious. As always the help here is fantastic!

not sure what rewrite you are referring too… or what might have been missed… what was the symptoms before?

It’s working well with RocketLoader disabled.

All i remember is you guys said you rewrote your JavaScript or updated it. Had multiple forum admin problems when rocket loader was active, after the java update all was well and sp worked well with rocket loader active.
