I’m having an issue with my WordPress install at the moment. Although Simple Press functions properly, the automatic updater has failed with the past two updates. I think this is a WP permissions issue, but until I get that sorted I just wanted to know if it would be safe to deactivate SP, upload the latest version via FTP and reactivate?
