Recently, I have not been able to add new topics to my forum. I was able to before, but now it’s not letting anyone add a new topic. Can someone look into this?

So what exactly is happening? Are you getting a blank white page after pressing the button? Is the button just not responsive?
Also when did this start and what changed? Updates to your WP theme or a WP plugin, a new WP theme or plugin?
We will need more information to work with if possible.
When you click on the “Add Topic” button, it is unresponsive. I just started doing this, and I do not recall any new changes in the past 48 hours that could have triggered this.
Sorry but something has to have changed.
If I can direct you back to the FAQ again there was also the question of a link to your site and checking the console for script conflicts which this is almost certainly a candidate for.

nothing has changed?? are you sure? you didnt used to cache/minify your forum, but are now

you cannot cache/minify the forum or things like this happen… our forum js is already minified and doing so again will break it…
I’m guessing that from the name ‘rocketscript’ that this is coming from WP Rocket. There have been several issues related to using WP Rocket from other users in the past.
Basically running caching on a static page is fine as the page content doesn’t change, but as Simple:Press sits within a page but it’s content is dynamic, caching causes problems.
Most caching plugins have the ability to select pages to exclude from caching, although I’ve not used WP Rocket, you will need to firstly make sure the page SP is on isn’t being cached, and then you should really clear any cached files to make sure nothing is left behind that could continue to interfere after SP is excluded.
I do not see that plugin active anywhere. We used it in the past, and we had a developer working on our site last week to increase our speed. It’s possible he uploaded it, and deleted it, but I’m not showing that anywhere to fix this issue…
OK, well it sounds like if someone was working on your site last week then that could have been the ‘what’s changed’ moment.
Not too familiar with caching plugins but it’s possible from a quick search that rocketscript is actually something to do with Cloudflare maybe?
Again – Don’t know much about it, in fact all I know about Cloudflare is it’s fine for static content, so if you’re running it you need to figure out a way to make it play nicely with Simple:Press / Dynamic content. We have a couple of people here who do run it successfully but will await your answer on that before digging deeper.
