There was a post on my forum which I couldn’t open for some reason. I deleted it but the unread posts marker always shows there is one post to read when there are none.
I’ve gone through the housekeeping tools but it won’t set the marker back to zero.

can you elaborate? you say notice and the unread posts marker… that means two different things to us… notices only show at forum header when one is generated.. the unread post marker is a permanent icon with unread post count…
guessing you mean the latter, but clarification would help… If so, have you clicked on the mark all posts read button right next door? it will clear the count…
