There is a thread I started yesterday evening called RSS. When I click to read, I get the RSS feed so it’s impossible to read and from the ‘Views’ count still shows 0 so it looks like nobody can either. Mr Papa was able to add a reply and I wonder how. I’ll answer him when I will be able to read it.

yes we were discussing this just today and trying to decide whether we need to introduce a blacklist of words not allowed in topic titles….
hmmm… but isn’t just because of the single word ‘RSS’? If the topic was “Question about RSS” would it have happened? Dunno if you want me to try…
No it would not have happened. The WP url parser is identifying the topic title as an RSS feed.
So the problem is only because RSS was the only word for topic title. Should be an easy fix. Maybe append an invisible char if detected?
If I want to discuss my initial problem, should you rename it so I can reply Mr Papa or you want me to start a new thread?
look at the topic rss url… it will match the topic url since you used a url rewrite keyword… a case where multiple rules match…
we could probably reorder our rules to give preference to the forum first…
