Can't see the forums

Till today evening everything worked fine since I installed the forum few months back. But now i can’t see my forums and groups. url: http://www.cleartalking.com/main.On the forum site I see “No groups have been created yet”.

In the adminpanel -> Forums-> Manage Groups and Forums all of my forums and groups are there (visable and working good).

When I click on Users->Member Information I can see where the members has written latest post and when I click on that  I see “No groups have been created yet”.

Don’t know what is wrong, appreciate any help you can provide. I can create an admin account for you to login and investigate. I haven’t made any changes to forum, so that is not the problem.

A bit alarming – although your data appears to be just fine.

I suspect we either have a permissions issue or a caching issue but not sure which.  Let’s try permissions first. Go to the forum admin > Toolbox > Housekeeping – and click on the task called ‘Reset Auths Cache’. Let’s see if that clears things first…

Additional…

After you do the above can you also run the ‘Flush General Cache’ task on the same housekeeping panel.

After I did ‘Reset Auths Cache’ it seems to be working fine now. I don’t see the option ‘Flush General Cache’ under house keeping, but there is ‘Reset combined CSS/JS’ option.

I’ll monitor to see if the issue apperas again. Another issue is ‘Currently Online’ doesn’t show the count of users and also ids currently online. Can you please advise on this? Thanks.

The messsage ‘No groups have been created yet’ appearing again after it worked for a while when I cleared the cache. When I tried ‘Reset Auths Cache’ again, nothing seems to be changing.

so any caching plugin?  or cdn?  something is changing things…

is the db intact?  perhaps trying repairing the db in case any tables had crashed…

Would also be worth looking at the error log. That might even show if there is a DB crash of some sort.
