Hello,

I've ran into a problem where the profile pop up does not pop-up.

I renamed all the spdefault to custom1 but nothing

I even changed the file spDefault to custom1 but it is still not working?

FYI: I'm stuck at step 5: Custom Theme

Any hints to what is going on?

Did it work before using the default theme?

Yes, it did. I reverted to the default theme just now and I'm trying to see if a pop up would show and it doesn't.

I don't know what I did wrong?

I duplicated every file, transferred it to a custom1 folder and renamed everything.

I'm using w3tc and i emptied the page cache and nothing...

Let's deal with that first.

Keep your forum using the default theme for now.

You can't cache SP using plugins like W3TC as the data is dynamically generated. You will need to exclude the forum slug fro ALL rypes of caching in the W3TC admin panels. You really need to do that before we can troubleshoot anything else..

Yeah, I did that a few weeks back. Every was working fine prior to making a custom theme.

Update: Okay, I found the reason why it is not working. I'm using this plugin called Barc chat.

Which basically is a chat room that can be resized and repositioned etc.

I don't know why it interferes with the forums? I'm speaking with one of the members from barc chat as well to resolve the issue.

I've spoken with them and they said that they own their load and use a special function called 'no conflict'.

If you would like to get in touch with them you can just talk to them on their site they're like always on there.

I'm speaking with the founder of it his name is Grant.

load their own what???  jquery?  why?  obviously we can only test and know we will work with the version that comes with WP... there is a reason why wp ships a known version of jquery that theme and plugin authors can expect...

Hmm alright I'll let them know. Well, I guess it is up the barc team to provide the resolution I guess. They said that they're using it in an iframe but yeah I guess you guys can't really do anything about this. Thanks though
