Different permissions for different forums?

Hi -

Is it possible for a single user to have different permissions for two different Group forums?  For example, in one the user is a Participant, meaning they can post and reply to topics, and read everything.  In the other Group forum, the user is an Auditor, meaning they can only read posts/topics.

If this is possible, will you give me some guidance on how to implement?  I just messed around with Permission Sets, but couldn't figure it out.

Thanks!
Samantha

yes, users can belong to as many usergroups as you want...  each usergroup gets permissions on the forum based on the usergroup / permission sets you apply to each forum...  if a user has multiple memberships on a forum, the 'best' permission wins out...

try this as a primer:  http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ng-access/
