Edit forum notification emails

Hi there,

We get a lot of forum users emailing a reply to an forum email notification, rather than going back to the forum and posting.

Is there a way to edit the notification email so we can add something like DO NOT REPLY etc to it.

Hi – can you clarify which forum notification email you’re asking about?  We have a few (both from the free core plugin and other notification plugins).

It’s an email that says there is a new forum post to read – it goes out when they subscribe to a topic

Do you have the HTML emails add-on enabled.  If so, take a look at the FORUM->COMPONENTS->HTML EMAILS->SUBSCRIPTIONS item.  Does that look like the email you’re looking for?

Hi, no we don’t have that plugin. So we add this, and can then edit the standard email I’ve referred to, is that right?

Does it popular the current email code so we can edit? Building the email from zero might be a bit of a challenge for me.
