Errors after upgrading to V5

Hi there !

I manage to update the forum but I still have 2 issues.

The first one is that I uploaded a custom theme following instructions here : http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/themes/theme-basics/creating-a-theme/

but the theme won’t show in the admin panel. I checked that it was in the right directory. Where could I look ?

The other issue is a major one. I saw other users had the same : nobody can add a new topic / answer using IE / Chrome. Work on Firefox.

In any case, I can only manage the simple text editor to work.

Here is what I see when I click on add topic :

I looked for:

(1) a reference to ‘ajax.googleapis.com’ and –

(2) a reference to ‘jquery-ui-1.8.5.custom.min.js’.

as mentioned in a similar topic but found nothing.

Where should I look ?

Thanks !

It will still be a scripting issue.
I can tell you what – probably anyway – if I have a link

Yes – usual bad jQuery loading.
Explained here in detail: http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/faq/troubleshooting/what-is-this-jquery-conflict/

Ok, I’m upgrading my theme to see if it correct the issue.

Well I did the upgrade but I still have this issue.

I found out one plugin using “googleapis”, desactivated it and works like a charm 🙂

thanks
