Forum not loading when logged out

Hi

 

I upgraded to Build 7831 recently. It seems now that when I log out of WP, it tries to go back to the forum (which is correct), but just shows the unformatted scotchpotch page.

 

If I’m logged in, I can visit my forum, but if I’m logged off, I get the non-formatted screen.

I suspect the WP Security plugin may have done some damage to my settiings. I unplugged the plugin but I’m unable to reverse any of the previous settings.

 

UPDATE: Problem resolved – cleaned up my WordPress installation using WP Cleanfix and the forum loads fine – this post can be deleted.

Perhaps I better look that plugin up in case it comes in handy one day 🙂

I thoroughly recommend Cleanfix – it saved me a lot of trouble.

 

As for WP Security – it’s given me nothing but grief. But it’s my fault really; I should have checked the reviews on it before installing it – and you REALLY have to know what you’re doing.

 

I guess that’s why I’m never out of this forum – if it ain’t broke, give it to me. Nothing’s safe. evil
