I’ve tried changing the opacity to different numbers and still a no go. I’ve posted over on the rocket theme forums about this, but still no reply. I’m going to give it to the end of the day and dump rockettheme theme’s from here on out, waste of $50. Simple press is by far the best forum software for wordpress and they being a premium template vendor should recognize this and have provided some type of solid work around or plugin not just that hacked up tutorial from a few weeks ago.

I have to say I sympathise with you. It worked for me by the way by just removing the opacity rule totally.
I am something of a dinosaur. I liked it when a theme was a theme and if you wanted to add bells and whistles you used plugins. Now so many themes are just plain over-complicated and awkward to work with.
Hey Swordfish, did you create the whole custom page template to get it going at first? Can you write out the exact code you used to get it to display. Ugh you are right wish a theme was a theme and that is all.
I didn’t change anything. I just used the Firebug console (Firefox extension) to interrogate the page to see what CSS was being applied and Firebug allows you to modify elements and immediately see the effect. Great diagnostic tool.
Ok I edited out the opacity line complely and was finally able to get it to display fine in firefox, but internet explorer it is still blank. I’ve reset ie, deleted history, flushed the dns, and reset the tcp/ip stack and it still displays blank. Any ideas on this ?
It shows up fine for me in IE… unless I am missing something – only glanced at the this topic since my last…
