well, you have not given us anything to go on… the more info you provide, the better answer we can provide…

so can you provide more info?? a link to your site so we can look for obvious conflicts would be best…

The website itself uses the Radiate Pro theme.
It doesn’t look like there are any conflicts, at least nothing in the browser console. Although the only popup I can see as a non forum admin is the information link in the footer which isn’t loading either.
Could you check Integration > Page and Permalink, and see whether ‘Load Javascript in Footer’ is checked? Try changing whatever it’s set to and give that a try.
Also what are your settings in Forum > Options > Global Settings > CSS/JS caching?
“Load Javascript in Footer” was not checked. I ticked the checkbox and reloaded the forums. Problems remains.

Nothing happens in the console when I click on the button.
Edit: By that I mean, the console is empty before I click, and after.
I suspect that the only way we may be able to work out what is happening is if we can have SP Admun access to the forum so we can try the button…

actually, the forum tools do open… but the z-index is such that its hidden behind your site… with the scrolling background from your theme, its using a higher z-index forcing the popup dialog of the tools to be hidden…
suggested adjustment to account for your wp theme is to edit your sp theme (make a child theme or your own theme first) and change the z-index of
.ui-dialog {
z-index: 1000 !important;
}
it would go in the main css file of the sp theme you use… so varies… and as recommended, you should make your own child theme or custom theme so you dont lose any changes if you update the theme…
another alternative would be to put in your wp theme css file… or if your wp theme provides a way in the wp admin of doing custom css, you could put in there as well…
