I got a reply from the developer:

Remove the following two lines of code from the functions.php file:

wp_deregister_script( 'jquery' );
wp_register_script( 'jquery', 'https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js', false);

And leave this one (just in case you’re tempted to remove it):

wp_enqueue_script( ‘jquery’ );

I did what he wrote, but it did not solve the issue. Any idea that might help me?

Yes – that is a pretty standard code change.

I can only help by seeing the site and checking for any conflicts. I assume you are not actually using the theme as I just took a quick look and t all seems fine to me.

If you want to switch to this new theme then let me know when I can visit to take a look.

make sure after you make the change that you clear your browser cache too…  but as Andy says, we can check for other issues if you leave it up for us…

Thank you for the offer to help me. It´s very much appricated.

However the theme developer made very little effort to help me, so i decided to not use the theme. His lack of support surprised me, especialy since he is ranked as the second most popular developer at Themeforest.

The SP support is light years a head of what he managed to prove. All cudos to you guys!

To keep it short, i did buy a theme based on the Warp framework. My forum is working like a charm, and i am a happy man.
