The same thing happened, grabbed the users but no forums, topics or posts.

What information do you need from the DB? Do you the actual host login information or just the DB info used in the import?

The one thing that threw me for a loop was the DB Prefix. My VB has no DB Prefix, so the import would fail because it required I input a prfix, so I entered just a space.

have to let Andy answer the prefix question, but must have worked if it got the users…

would need the whole vbulletin db… so we can try importing it on our test beds to see what happens…

thanks for version – might ring a bell to Andy on version specific stuff… he maintains the importer…

okay, but we need a db export, not the connect info… since not on same server, we cannot connect directly..

Sent the export, it exceeded 25mb, so had to use google share.
