How do you assign users to forums?

Love the plugin!
I've spent many hours exploring the many features and hooking it into my site but there's one thing I just can't figure out.
How do you link/assign users to an actual forum?
I've spend hours trying to figure this out and am at a loss. I realize there are usergroups, groups, forums and WP roles but how in the world to you assign a person to any of these things???
Any help is very appreciated.

Hey Curtis,
The best place to start is taking a look at the 'Codex Pages' on the right here.. Specifically Controlling Access.
Have a good read, it's what the Codex is there for (and to save us typing things out twice!) and of course any questions do ask, we will be here!
