How to i put a banner on top of my forum

I am not very technical, can someone give me simple instructions how to do this,

that is tooooo broad a question…  you want just an image?  add it in the wp page the forum appears on…  any content in the wp page itself shows up above the forum…

Just the forum page specifically.

An image file like the one you have on top of this forum right now.

for an image, like I said, go edit the wp page the forum is on… add your image into the page content like you would for any wp post…
