How to identify posts which are waiting for moderation

I am being plagued by spam posts. Unlike regular forum posts, I don’t receive an email notification that they have been made. I find them by chance and they are always marked “waiting for moderation”. Is there any way I can identify all posts waiting for moderation and thereby ensure that I see all spam posts?

If you allow for guest posting then sadly spam posts are just a fact of life. I would recommend you use our Admin Bar plugin which should make things a bit easier in terms of the administration. You can also optionally use Akismet to help identify spam. Perhaps using the captcha plugin for non-registered users might also be a useful addition.

OK, thanks. I have installed the admin plugin. I’ll see how I get on with that.

The Admin plugin is doing a wonderful job of identifying all of the spam posts and putting them all in one place where they are easy to deal with. Thanks again for your advice.
