I see how to move a topic to another forum, but I do not see how to move topics up or down within the same forum? For example, I have several pinned topics within a forum, but want them listed in a certain order. Is there a way to do this?

Afraid not. They are sorted by the most recent post id within the topics. So you could only control the order by writing posts to them!

Can I edit this in my database? In the sftopics table, perhaps?

Well it would need to be sfposts and you can't change the ID I am afraid

I was also looking for this as I have 2 pinned post in a forum and I wanted to change the order they are showing.  I tried changing the date in the DB but it's not working.  Dunno if writing a post to move on to the top then delete the post if it will stay there?  Probably not.  Anyway it's no big deal so I haven't explored more.

as Andy said, they are sorted by ID... which you should not change...
