Hi,
It's really important that I display recently joined members on my front page but surprisingly there aren't any widgets available for this (that I can find anyway).
Since I like the simplicity of the Recent Forum Posts widget, can you tell me where I can tweak the code to display the last 5 recently joined members instead of posts (just AVATAR, USER, DATE JOINED for example)?

Before getting into the complexities of trying to do that - and it would be far, far easier to write something as a simple template tag - have you looked through the WordPress plugin repository to see of there is anything already existing that would do this for you? New users are, after all, the responsibility of the WordPress core and there may be something out there that would do the job.
By the way - it shouldn't really be a surprise we offer no tag or widget. I believe I am right in saying that in all the years we have been operating Simple:Press we have never been asked for this before. We get asked more frequently how to remove the new members list from the stats though!
