you had to reset a page name you had already set? are you saying a setting was overridden?  sorry if I am not following..

There was a bug in a previous version of the BuddyPress Plugin that required you set your members page to be exactly ‘members’. If it was called anything else it would re-direct to a 404. (including the BuddyPress Members Page itself).

A recent upgrade (and fix) must of corrected this….or at the very least changed it. Because now only the BuddyPress Members page seems to work.

But yes, I had to change a page I already had set. I was just looking to reference this thread because I was experiencing the exact same issue as I had already resolved. The issue is now resolved though.
