Installation problem "The plugin does not have a valid header"

I deactivated & uninstalled old forum files, uploaded the new version, clicked activate and I get  “The plugin does not have a valid header”

What’d I do?

so you have wp 3.3+ right?  and removed the old simple-forum and uploaded new simple-press?

anything else in the error log?

sounds like a corrupted upload but think you said you tried a couple times…

Yes, after uploading all the files for a 3rd time I’m good.

 

I’m running the upgrade process now 🙂
