Yes – as i said, you’re theme looks good and clean. I don’t think there is a prolem in that department.
I am using my iPad to write this by the way and will try answering more posts this morning. So far though i am not having any problems…

I find it to be so random, last night it crashed everytime I tried to post and then it went ok for a while…very strange.  I’ve now reverted to typing what I want to say in a note app and copy and pasting where I want it…lol

Can i assume that this is with the plain text editor?
It should be if things are working correctly but i thought it worth checking…
Again – writing this on my iPad and still no issues…

You are getting tinyMCE on the ipad?

Have you removed it from the list of mobiles because anything in that list, if the agent, should force the use of the plain text editor on any mobile.

TinyMCE will not work correctly on any mobile platform yet as I understand it) because none of the mobile browsers yet completely support the ‘contentEdited’ protocols. We re-tested this out just a couple of weeks ago.

Now I’ll give that a try. Wish me luck.

You mean no toolbar? Well as I say – tinymce wont work properly with mobile browsers until the browsers get up to date with what should be there. It is the browsers that are not up to it.

I wonder what I’ve got on my forum that you haven’t. If your iPad works fine on your forum there has to be something conflicting. Which plugin do you use?

Yes – we have all 3 plugin installed. The point is that if SP finds the agent is a mobile it is supposed to automatically force the plain text editor on the mobile session, This happens for me so I am curious why not for you as well. It does this by using the list in the admin > mobile panel.

if its not doing  mobile for you, please tell us what user-agent string your ipad is generating… do you still have the default user agent strings on forum – components – mobile?

It is doing it for me. Thanks for the list. I’ve not got all the plugins installed. The only thing I have different is the smileys. But I can’t see it being them surely. Before the upgrade I could click on the smileys and they didn’t work but since i upgraded I can.

I am confused here. The question is why do you get offered the tinyMCE editor when you should not be. Steve asked if you knew what user agent was being used on your iPad. But also can you tell us if ‘iPad’ is in the mobile touch agents list on the mobile panel under forum components?
