Is there a way to replace the member designation with an image?

I tried using the forum rank tool to do this and it adds the forum rank image I chose in addition to the member’s role and looks poor.  Is there a way to replace these with a single image?

Here’s a screenshot of what happens when I choose an image in the forum rank plugin.  Obviously I’d like the image I chose to show up instead of the blue member tag.

Are you using normal Forum Ranks (i.e., based upon post ciounts) or are you using Special Ranks?

Both.  The special ranks works perfectly.  The only way I have managed so far is to not put a title in for the post number rank, just a blank space.  This sort of works…. gotta be a better way.  I notice on your forum that you have icons added.  Not sure where/problem-with-post-edit-buttonow to do this.  But that would be just fine.

you just need to change your template function in you sp theme to set showTitle=0

Thanks.  Unfortunately the site won’t let me in saying I am not a member, despite the fact I am logged in here and a member so I can’t see anything.

Sorry – I am confused. Are you saying that you can not login to the Codex? have you tried? Does it not have a message banner on the Membership page explaining about this? Or are you not seeing that as well?

Well, now it seems I can.  Yesterday I couldn’t.  Sorry, probably me.
