Just installed but cannot log in – SimplePress admin is nonexistent account!

Hi I just installed SimplePress on my site and must have had an earlier test installation based on a user admin who no longer exists on the site. Upon installing Simple Press this morning, the system will only allow user “oldadmin” to access SimplePress but user oldadmin no longer exists. And I can’t fully uninstall SimplePress to start over again because you can only do that as the Admin. Help! What can I do?

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Now – I am not 100% sure and it would take me a while to set up a test – but if you go to the WordPress plugins admin panel – locate Simple:Press – do you not get an Uninstall option there?

There is, and thank you! I don’t know why I thought I’d done that already. And now that it’s installed properly, I realize that when I thought I’d installed it earlier today, I’d really only updated an earlier test installation that I’d failed to fully uninstall.

Anyway, your answer did the trick, and thanks again. And thanks in general for a lovely product!
