"LAST POST" not showing in main forum view

Dang, uploading to v5 and getting the upload button (which is AWESOME) unfortunately removes all the other great things that were available in v 4.5 🙁

In addition to the horizontal vs stacked subforum (and inability to hide) issue – it doesn’t show the last post information in the parent forum when you post something into a sub-forum/child-forum.

The topic number and post number increases and is shown in the parent forum stat, but the last post doesn’t show like it used to.  If you posted in a child forum in v4.5, it would still show the “last posted” information in the parent forum view.

All of them? I wasn’t aware we had really lost any of them.

See your other post on this same subject.

So you are referring to the last post column in the ‘Group View’ here yes? I will look into it.

wink I shouldn’t have said “all of them” – more like all the features that were available which made me switch from my previous forum system.  The most important thing I was the v5.0 upload attachment button, as well as the layout options that are in 4.4.5 or 4.5.0

Yes, last post column in the group view.

and this shows the “sub forum” view with the horizontal sub forums as opposed to vertical stacked like the old version.

Well we have discussed those two points. I am more concerned with your last post column being empty…

I just followed what was mentioned here:

sorry, you’re right, I followed what was mentioned with the “stack=1” switch but did that in the spforumview.php file – so that fixed my subforums so t hey are shown vertical vs horizontal.

In the spGROUPview.php file, I removed the “sp_ForumHeaderSubForums” tag in order to hide the subforums.

Actually I was wrong about one thing.

The ‘stacked’ option is available in both Group AND Forum view. It is the ‘AllNested’ option that is missing from Forum View and I am looking into that this afternoon.
