Just noticed a link set to open in current window is opening a new page / tab. Not sure if it is since wp 4.5 or not.

not sure what you are saying…  would need to see example… and you dont set a single link, its forum wide on all content based on an option…

Inserting a link within a post in the tinymce editor has two options, none or new window. Selecting none opens that link in a new window instead of the current one.

what do you have for the global option in forum – options – content settings…  that drives how we set it up…
