Hi,

1) Login from the forum gets re-directed to the regular theme login page.

2) There are two green check buttons “Remember Me” next to the login button, not one. Neither one of them seems to be clickable.

The site is www.koshertravelinfo.com.

Wow I have no idea why you have two checkbox buttons.. But I can only assume it’s something coming from your theme somewhere similar to the last problem (although I can’t pinpoint it)

When it comes to the first point, are you asking if it’s possible to re-direct the login button to your regular theme login page?

Regarding the first point, what I mean is that even if I put in the right username and pass in the login on the forums page, it redirects to:

http://koshertravelinfo.com/login/

I registered and tried as a test on one of your showcase sites http://fiddlerman.com/, and when I login with the right credentials, I stay right there in the forums.

It has been suggested that you could possibly have two login forms on one page. If this is the case then the extra login form could be creating the same ‘remember me’ class because it’s using the same information…

But also, could you check in Forum > Components > Login and Registration, to make sure you don’t have any re-direct in place to take you to the theme login?

Well that will be why the login takes you to the theme login…

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure I understand. The re-direct is not to the login page. It is to www.koshertravelinfo.com/forum.

I checked one of the sample sites in your showcase (Fiddleman, fiddlerman.com/forum/) and when users login they stay right in the forum.

On our site, even when the correct username and password is entered, the users gets re-directed to the general login page. I want them to stay right there in the Simple:Press forum.

you get those double checkboxes when items are mutliply defined… ie multiple wp login forms since both may use the same ID for the form or elements of the form…

do you have another login form for WP displayed in the header, sidebar or other location  besides the one in the forum?  if so, you may need to remove one of them…
