No. No redirection plugin and No yoast or any seo plugin for that matter.

I tried deactivating all plugins and even that did not resolve the redirection issue.

I have tried to manually upload the latest release candidate and that hasn’t helped either.

I don’t know why the software keeps looking for icons in simple-press folder. It should have automatically got correct after running the upgrade from 4.5 to 5 but I guess it has stuck somewhere. Don’t know beyond that.Also, I can change the path for the icon folder from the forum admin so that doesn’t look a big concern. 

What the other errors mean, I have no idea.

I am not sure the upgrader attempts to redefine that location since it could already be in use… could cause problems if we reassigned… but ticket is open to research…

and it wont be a problem if you are not using custom icons, I wouldnt think… are you using them?

No I don’t use any custom icons.

Since the redirection issue was not resolving I have pulled down the forums for now.

Moving it to a subdomain using a  fresh sp5 install and importing content.
