no, we have not done any updates and i am making reference to uploading a picture in a new post or reply. i tried to have other members try and post and they also are having problems however i can log in as them from my computer and i am able to post and upload photos signed in with their user name and account.

well, things dont just break… something must be different…

your site is throwing a few minor errors in the scripts but nothing that will stop things working as far as I can see.

But… if you can log in as these users and perform uploads that seems to suggest perhaps something browser specific. So which browser are you using to try this and which browser are they using? Need the type and version as well…

you mention the site is throwing minor Script errors. Why and what may be causing them? and how can i fix those errors?

I have a member who’s getting the following error messages when attempting to upload images. I had the member send me the images so that I can upload them and see if I can replicate this issue on my own, and I couldn’t. On my end, these images uploaded successfully. Any idea why my one member is getting these error messages?

I have already asked the member to try replicating the issue in a different browser. Will let you know what happens there. If you know of a solution to the problem in the mean time, I’d love to hear it.

the first seems to explain it…  the photo is exceeding the size limits you have established for photos… as admin, you have no limits… see forum – components – photo uploads (general upload settings) and forum – profiles – profile options (photo sizes)…

From Forum>Components>Photo Uploads, I’ve increased the file upload limit to 7340032, which is the stated PHP Upload Max Size, and the PHP Post Max Size.

As for Forum>Profile>Profile Options, the only options I see are those three under Personal Photos, and they are all set to zero, which I believe is the default, and denotes a limitless size designation.

I’ve asked my member to re-attempt to upload images. I imagine that my new file upload limit will allow for successful uploads. Would you agree?
