Moderator/Admin list not updating, Wrong Date/Time

Two problems, not sure what’s going on :/ here’s a link http://www.semeasy.com/forum/

  1. I had a moderator in the forum which was later changed to an an admin account.  Account was removed from the moderator usergroup and added to the admin list.  “Admin” appears under their name in forum posts, but in the member’s info section at the bottom of the forum the account is still listed under “Moderators”
  2. The “posted X hours ago” tags show the wrong time, even though the forum and site are set to the proper timezone (as seen on the bottom of UTC -5)

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

  1. It might depend in when this change took place. The information in the stats section is cached and will only update after about an hour. If over that time then it might be that your WP Cron is not working and we can investigate that. If within the time then it is worth waiting until it ticks over to see.
  2. Try this: http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/faq/troubleshooting/why-do-my-new-posts-show-as-posted-minus-seconds-ago/ – basically UTC settings are not really properly supported and WP only allow them for backwards compatibility. Rather annoying really.

Great thanks, it was cached :)

Unfortunately, however, the admin links/toolset/options/etc. still do not show up for the user, even though they are logged in (and listed as admin, also all their capabilities are green [enabled]).  Any suggestions?

to get the links and admin bar, they must enable them in their admin options… forum – admin – your admin options…  you as admin, can also set them for all other admins on same panel…
