Moderators aren't showing up under "Member Stats"

Last night I selected one of my usergroups to be moderators. There are four members in the usergroup, but at the bottom of the forums under “Member Stats” it says Moderators: 0

Do the members also have to be in the default Moderator usergroup to show up in stats? I put them there awhile ago just in case, but still don’t see them.

I’ve tested that my usergroup works alone as moderator just now before coming to post.

I keep thinking I must be missing something…

No, any registered user will show regardless of user group membership… of course, admins and mods are counted differently…

the stats are cached…  they run, by default, every hour, I believe…  the stats use wp cron to run… do you know of any issues with wp cron?

a way to test wp cron would be to make a blog post but scheduled it for the future, say 10 minutes… then wait and see if it shows up…

I schedule posts all the time and there doesn’t seem to be an issue. I don’t use any caching plugins either (no idea if that would make a difference here, just shooting in the dark)

It seems like when I chose my UserGroup to be Moderators in Admin settings it didn’t register for some reason. Once I put them individually into the default Moderator UserGroup 24 hours later they showed up by a couple hours later. So they are showing up as Moderators now in stats at the bottom of the forums.

Yes, they are showing up as Moderators. Still don’t know what the issue was, but it’s working now.

okay, thanks for the update… maybe just wp cron hiccup fixed with the test scheduled post..
