Hello!
I've been using Simple:Press for three+ years and my forum has 138,714 topics. To manage our large size and activity, we move posts from one of our most active forums to an "Archive" forum each week.
However, about two weeks ago, the "Move this topic" tool stopped working. When you select the "move this topic" tool, the pop-up to select which forum to move it to still appears (see screenshot), and when you select the new forum, it still refreshes the page. But the topic remains in the old forum and isn't moved to the new forum.
"Move this topic" tool is still loading.
But topic remains in old forum. 🙁
We believe the "Move this topic" tool stopped working right after we upgraded the site to SSL/HTTPS.
Is it possible there is an error with this feature when the site is set to HTTPS?
Thanks for your help!
nope, no issue with SSL... we use it here...
what did you do after going to SSl? did you update the forum permalink on forum - integration - page and permalink? and also clear out any combined caches (css and js) on forum - toolbox - housekeeping...
also, assume you are latest version of simple press? what about WP?
when you try to move a topic and it doesnt work, any info in the error log on forum - toolbox - error log? suggest clearing it out if anything there and then try moving a topic... but first, make sure you had done the couple items in first paragraph...

good news! thanks for the update...
if you have any links in posts or images in posts, those may need to be converted manually in the db since the url itself is stored in the content... its an easy search and replace if you need to... we can help with the query if its new to you...
