Im facing some problems with the simple press. I did install it, but the new topic button dont work ad is inactive. I did turn off all the plug ins installed, it didnt work. I also changed the WP Theme, it also didnt work. Tried in chrome and IE browser.
What should I do to turn it possible to post something in that page?

Is your forum active at the moment? It doesn’t appear on that page.

afraid guests cannot view or post, so hard to add anything more…
if you wanted to pm temp credentials to ike, yellow swordfish and mr papa via pm (send to all) and link back here we could take a look…
alternatively, you could check the browser console for any errors when clicking on the button…
I have allowed guest to post, so you can check now. Also I ve PM a temporary admin access to my worpress .
The button dont show up, so I cant click on it.

inactive is completely different from not showing up… not showing up indicates your dont have permission to post…
who is not showing for? anyone? users? guests? etc…
have you configured permissions to allow posting?
is this fresh install or did you upgrade from earlier version?
ok, The button is not showing up. It doesnt appear. Guest, Admin, Moderators, no one can see the button. Yes , It is a fresh install and I think (Im not a pro in this system so I cant assure I did) I did set all the permitions so Admins and Moderators could post.
Odd… I can see the button AND it works. Both the one on Group View and the one in individual forums…
And that is as a guest…
And I see them and they work when logged in using the credentials you supplied…
