New User – How to create topics and catoegories in simple press

Hi I am new to this so please go gently just installed simple press with help. I cant see a way you can make topics or categories in your forum, any help much appreciated

Hey Patrick,

No problem we all have to start somewhere.

The best thing to do is to take a look at our Codex in the sidebar menu on the right here, specifically the Getting Started pages.

The 2 categories ‘Creating Your Forums’ and ‘Controlling Access’ are probably 2 of the most important topics you should get to grips with.
