Hi, is there a way to display a notification, if permissions are missing?

I have set up a permission group with read only light permissions – means, they only see the list of forums, but can not drill down to the topics.

Now, if a user klicks on a forum, the user doesn’t get a notification, that only subscribed users are permitted to view the topics. This I would like to change – ideally with a text link to subscription form.

Is this a feature of the standard core system? Or do I have to change code at the template?
