I translated the Reboot theme to greek, but the stats still say 0% translated. Also, when I export the file to po or mo, it saves it empty.

It is a real nuisance isn’t it! Every translation made needs to be approved. Sadly, this is how the system works. I think we do say that in the help and on our web page. So a translation made is held pending until approved. This needs someone who is a validator – and that can not be any of us as we do not speak Greek!
We are really hoping that the WordPress dev team will change this restriction one day but we are still, sadly, waiting for this to happen.
The easiest way – to be honest – is to make you a validator and then you can do it yourself. If you want me to upgrade you like this I just need to know your registered user name on the translation site.
Yes, please, validate me. I suppose I’ll have to wait for ever, until another Greek validator is to be found
My user name is the same as this one. Apopas.
Hi, I can not find these ones to translate:
Actually, most of them (but not all) exist in the admin part of the core plugin (shouldn’t be in the frontend?), but when I click “get latest”, it doesn’t get them.
probably in two spots… so for profile tabs and menus, you customize them on forum – profiles – tabs and menus… and the overview is on forum – profiles- profile options…
and also, remember, that any strings found in plugins, will need the translations for those plugins done as well… http://glotpress.simple-press.com/projects/simple-press-plugins
I changed the translations from there but now in the Profiles says
Profile form could not be found: [Account Settings]
You might try the forum – toolbox – housekeeping admin form and reset the profile tabs and menus and see if that helps
I tried the housekeeping reset but the problem remains! What did I do?
Can you tell us what you entered into the text box on that profile option page?
No text with apostrhophes! I just entered the greek translations. I renamed every tab in it’s english name but the problem persists.
Edit: With the mobile version of the site, it works normally. It happens only with the Desktop version with every theme I tried.
Did you try resetting the tabs and menus AFTER you edited them back to english?
And please clear your browser cache as well before retesting
I edit them back to english and when i hit the reset button it returns them back to greek
The few tabs I hadn’t translate at all at first place, seem to work normally.
I ‘ve cleared the browser’s cache.
