yeah, I would grab the 5.6.4 version just to have latest… then go into your code, and edit the simple-press/sp-startup/sp-load-install.php file and try commenting out this line around 141

        $bad = sp_version_checks();

comment it out and let it install… see what happens..

I commented out the line … $bad = sp_version_checks(); … and the install ran no problem.

I can get on with the testing now.
